Delegates tackle dry eye disease
We hosted an event for Scope Eyecare in May, using our fifth floor lecture areas, breakout spaces and clinical bays. Around 35 visitors enjoyed the Dry Eye Clinic Masterclass, gaining comprehensive insights and hands-on experience in the battle against this disease – a hot topic in eye health.
Mandy Davidson, Scope’s medical and professional affairs manager, led the session: “The delegates really enjoyed the day and were very complimentary about the venue and your overall facilities. We very much look forward to coming back again in the not too distant future.”

Elliot Bateman, head of professional services, Armstrong & North Opticians and Hearing Care, said it was: “a brilliant event, well organised and hosted by the ABDO National Resource Centre.
“I came away with knowledge of what it takes to set up and run a dry eye clinic, along with some really interesting meibography photos of my own eyelids! I’m going to have to start doing the heat, cleanse, hydrate routine myself.”
