A new member of the team
A warm welcome to our newest team member, operations assistant Ruth Page. Ruth will help to ensure that the National Resource Centre (NRC) operates smoothly and efficiently during all events, delivering high standards of customer service. She’ll work to make sure that guests and delegates are satisfied with the quality of their events, the facilities, and our services.
Ruth says: “I’ve also always enjoyed being in environments where I can learn about different industries. From my first visit to the NRC for my interview, I knew that this was somewhere I wanted to be and was thrilled to learn I had been selected to join the team.
“I’ve worked in a wide range of roles with an overarching theme of customer service. I’ve always enjoyed meeting new people and helping them as much as I am able – and hopefully bringing them a smile in the process!”
Ruth joins us from a role as centre manager with a tuition company. She is a trained actress, who has appeared at the Edinburgh Fringe Festival, Nottingham’s underground caves and the Polar Express – taking place on a moving steam train.
Mat Stringer, NRC Operations Manager, says: “Ruth brings a wealth of experience in education, training and events. We’re thrilled to have her on board. Welcome, Ruth!”
