“The central hub for dispensing professionalism”

We always enjoy meeting our guests and supporting them, whether they are holding discussions in our meeting rooms, learning new skills or using our clinical areas to prepare for exams. 

Specsavers returned recently, holding a boot camp for people taking the Cert 4 in optical dispensing. More than 170 team members tested their practical skills in frame fitting and progressive dispensing. They are working towards this level 4 BTEC qualification.  

The company visited across a fortnight, for events lasting two days each, using the fourth floor space for hands-on training. Delegates also heard from experts in different sectors across the business. 

Daniel Green, Specsavers dispensing and contact lens training manager, said: “The event allows for students to network with other like minded colleagues from other stores, sharing ideas and experiences, all in the central hub for dispensing professionalism in the UK.”
