The Royal College of Ophthalmologists at the NRC
It has been a pleasure to welcome the Royal College of Ophthalmologists back to the NRC and be able to support them with our facilities. The NRC has worked well with their slick examining process. NRC Head of Operations Mat Stringer says, “We have been working closely to assist with their protocols by signing in delegates on our fourthfloor, taking candidates’ temperatures along with track and trace info before they have a briefing and head up to the fifth floor clinical area for their OSCE.”
Dylan Costello, Head of Examinations says, “Having used NRC in the past, we jumped at the chance to return this July to run our Refraction Certificate examination. What this venue excels at is the spacious, state of the art facilities on offer which helps enormously with the smooth running of our exam. The staff are also extremely helpful at all times and no request is ever too much trouble for them. The location of NRC in the centre of the country is also perfect for our candidates that travel from all parts of the UK. As a result of all of these benefits, our exam ran with great success this week and we look forward to returning again soon!”
Luke Clifford, Senior Examiner says, “The ABDO facilities have been great for running our refraction exams. Spacious, good equipment and rooms and excellent lunches. This has helped enormously with a smooth and successful examination process. We would most definitely use them again in the future.”
