June at the NRC

While filming is going on in part of the NRC, the team is busy preparing for summer exams for the Association of British Dispensing Opticians. The NRC’s Mat Stringer says, “We are arranging for volunteer patients to attend the exams. The team is sanitising the NRC, and we are stocking up on consumables including PPE and all that Covid brings. I have also carried out a routine Health and Safety assessment.”

Alongside the routine preparations, Mat has also arranged a service for the clinical bays in anticipation of contact lens exams. He adds, “After this, we will be quickly turning our focus to theory exams setup in mid June on the second and third floor.”
