“A fun filled couple of days” at the NRC
Ever wondered how people really use our space? Senior optometrist Hamza Mussa shared this video from Aston University’s assessment centre, where second year optometry students came to the NRC in order to spend a day building towards gaining work placements with Specsavers.
The students enjoyed a challenging icebreaker, getting up out of their seats, before joining in lively group discussions. They took part in one-to-one interviews followed by a meet the partners event, where they got to talk to senior Specsavers people.
Hamza, who is also a councillor at the College of Optometrists, said it was a “fun filled couple of days at Aston University with the team from Specsavers graduate recruitment running the assessment centre.
“It was great to meet and engage with all the second year students and start them on the journey to securing a CLiP placement with Specsavers.”
